
Acclaimed reggae artiste Etana has been officially named the Reggae Month Ambassador for 2026. The announcement was made by Jamaica's Minister of Culture, Olivia Grange, during the launch of Reggae Month festivities.
The initiative aims to spotlight reggae's worldwide influence through the voices of its practitioners. Etana was selected for her consistent commitment to positive messaging and strong representation of Jamaican culture globally.
In her new role, Etana expressed her gratitude and commitment to using music as an inspiration for resilience, particularly as Jamaica continues to rebuild following recent weather challenges.
