Keznamdi Wins Best Reggae Album Grammy 2026
Jamaican reggae artist Keznamdi won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album at the 68th Grammy Awards held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on February 1, 2026, for his independently released debut album BLXXD & FYAH. The album, featuring Kelissa, Mavado, and Masicka across 13 tracks, explores third-world perspectives and the struggle of developing-nation life under colonial systems. Keznamdi beat an all-Jamaican field of nominees — Lila Iké, Vybz Kartel, Jesse Royal, and Mortimer — making this his first Grammy nomination and his first win, a landmark moment for independent reggae worldwide.
